Literacy

• We are learning to read increasing complex, multisyllabic words through our Read, Write Inc literacy programme.
• We are developing our tools for writing through a range of writing activities linked to our topic.

Numeracy

We are learning about Place Value including counting forwards and backwards in 1s, 10s, 100s, 2s and 5s, identifying place value in 3 digit numbers and comparing and ordering numbers.

IDL (topic)  & Religious Education

• We are refreshing our knowledge on classroom routines, and reminding ourselves of the school rules and values, in line with UNCRC rights of the child.
• We are learning about land use in our local area and across Scotland using the Katie Morag books as a stimulus for learning.
